Strip Club Accounting grew out of years spent working inside the financial operations of high-volume nightlife and adult entertainment venues across Los Angeles.

After watching generalist bookkeepers miss the things that actually cost operators money — stage fees, entertainer classification, cover-charge amusement tax, nightly cash variance, tip-pool compliance — we built the firm we wished these venues had access to. Purpose-built, industry-specific, and fluent in how the business runs after dark.

Almost entirely. We also take hospitality groups that own an adult entertainment venue as part of a larger portfolio. We don't take on one-off restaurant or retail engagements — focus is the whole point.
Yes — every client is cash-intensive by definition. Our entire cash-control playbook is designed for that reality: nightly DSR reconciliation, deposit velocity tracking, CTR-aware deposit structuring, and controls the IRS expects to see in a cash-intensive business exam.
Depends on the state, the operator's control over schedule and conduct, and how the revenue model is structured. There is no universal answer. We review the facts, document the position, and build the supporting files — contracts, stage fee logs, independence factors — so the classification holds up in an exam. Several states have tightened the rules recently; we stay on top of it.
Sage Intacct is our preferred system for multi-venue operators — it handles intercompany allocations and consolidated reporting cleanly. For single-venue clients, QuickBooks Online or Enterprise is usually a better fit. We'll work with whatever you have; if it needs to change, we'll tell you and handle the migration.
A clean engagement with organized historical books can be onboarded in 2–3 weeks. A cleanup engagement takes longer — usually 30–60 days — and we quote cleanup separately before ongoing work starts. First close is always the slowest; every close after is on schedule.
We're an accounting and advisory firm led by senior accounting professionals with deep industry experience, not a public CPA practice. We handle bookkeeping, controller work, cash control, payroll administration, sales & amusement tax filings, and fractional-CFO engagements. For federal and state income tax returns, we refer clients to specialist CPAs we work with regularly and coordinate the handoff so nothing gets dropped.
